Who we are
Udhyam Labs AI is the trading name of Udhyam AI Labs Private Limited, a company based in Delhi, India. We decide why and how the personal data described here is used, which makes us the Data Fiduciary for it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect, and when
When you send the enquiry form, we collect your first and last name, organisation, designation, work email address, phone number and what you are looking for. If you complete the second step, we also collect your description of the problem, your timeline and the country you are based in.
Along with the enquiry, your browser sends the page you sent the form from, the first page you visited on this site, the website that referred you, any campaign tags on the link you followed, and its user agent, which identifies the browser and its version.
When you ask to be told about new articles, we collect your email address and the page you signed up on.
When you use the readiness check, your answers stay in your browser. They reach us only if you choose to send them with an enquiry.
When you use the site assistant, what you type is sent to our server to produce a reply, and we do not store the conversation. When the assistant is answered by an AI service, your message is passed to that service for that purpose only.
Every visit is recorded in the technical request logs of our hosting provider, which include your IP address, the time and the page requested. These logs are used to run and secure the site.
What we keep in your browser
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site keeps one small record in your browser's local storage: the first page you visited, the site that referred you and any campaign tags, for up to 90 days. It leaves your browser only if you send the enquiry form, so that an enquiry can be traced to the article or post that led to it. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and to arrange a conversation with you.
- To keep a record of enquiries and of where each one stands.
- To understand which pages and articles lead to enquiries, so that we know what to write next.
- To send the article notices you asked for, and nothing else.
We process this data with your consent, which you give by sending the form or signing up. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing it stops any further use and does not affect what was done before. We do not sell or rent your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not add people who send an enquiry to a mailing list.
Where it is stored, and who handles it for us
These providers process the data on our instructions and for no other purpose.
| Provider | What it does for us | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Aiven | Stores enquiries and article sign-ups in our database. | Bengaluru, India |
| Vercel | Hosts the website and runs the code that receives the form, and keeps request logs. | Code runs in Mumbai, India. Pages are served from Vercel's global network. |
| Resend | Sends us an email with the details of each new enquiry. | United States |
| GoDaddy | Hosts the mailbox that receives those emails. | Outside India |
Because some of these providers operate outside India, your details may be transferred outside India for these purposes, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. If we enter into an engagement with your organisation, we keep them for as long as the contract and the law require.
- Article sign-ups are kept until you ask us to stop sending notices.
- Request logs are kept by our hosting provider for the period it sets for its service.
When the period ends, we erase the data, including from the copies of the enquiry list that we keep.
Your rights
You can ask us:
- for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and of how we use it;
- to correct, complete or update it;
- to erase it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- to stop using it, by withdrawing your consent; and
- to record the person you nominate to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
Write to innovations@udhyamlabs.tech from the email address you gave us, or quote the reference you were given when you sent the form. We reply within one working day and complete the request within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
How we protect it
Connections between your browser and this site, and between the site and our database, are encrypted. Only we can see the stored enquiries, through a private page protected by a key that we alone hold, and the database is reachable only with credentials held by us.
Children
This site is for businesses and their staff. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
